I get chills listening to this song from the land of my ancestors (paternal grandfather) near Santander, España (Hermosa, medio Cudeyo). As newlyweds around 1973, My wife and I drove from Sweden To Spain for a genealogical expedition. We slept in an Opel station wagon we borrowed from Gils wonderful parents, (along with my surfboard) during the trip. Got amazing waves in France and Spain, tons of family history information and met many distant relatives who opened their homes and hearts to us! They gave us a complete floor of the Palacio de la Torriente where we stayed for a month or so. Tomorrow my son, Danny, and I go south in Mexico to research my paternal grandmothers side. Looking forward to that adventure!
