I get paid to re-pulse people. Ha, Thats a good one! But seriously, Ive been hearing and reading a lot about the trollishness of people who use Facebook, and Facebook in general for that matter. I suppose this forum can be filled with gossip and meanness and petty stupidity, but if my page, Rescuing Providence and the people who take the time to stop by and participate, or just read the posts and commentarry are any indication, well then-Facebook is just fine! Social Media is like anything else, wherever you go;there you are. I dont see the sense in writing stuff simply to get a reaction, or to attack another person, the vast majority of whom I do not know personally. I grow tired, rather quickly, of the point counterpoint culture. I like to write about things that inspire mostly, horrify me every now and then, sometimes about things that break my heart, and every so often something funny. Therefore, while Im feeling all-knowing and far superior to the average Facebook dweller, may I present this page as evidence that Facebook need not be the evil undoer of society as we know it.
