I get really cranky about conservatives that try to mask their religious agenda to get libertarians to shut up and sit down while they try to take us back to the Stone Age. I also dont appreciate conservatives that bash some of the brilliant people at Cato they arent fit to carry water for. (Im sure anyone who is on here that was at the event tonight could tell) So in my opinion the speaker was worthless and he doesnt deserve the attention of you all. The best thing I can do is not even mention his name. The real talk happened after the speaker left with the conservatives that are open and honest about the beliefs we disagree on but discuss it freely. Im more than happy to work on the fiscal issues with those people. While I may disagree with honest conservatives, I respect honesty and a willingness to work for improvement where its possible. The night ended with real conversation, a better understanding of each other, and laughter. Also, I told them to just get out of the way because democrats and big government republicans have had plenty of time to ruin the country. Its time for libertarians to fix it now. :)
