I give God all the glory for birthing inspiration and new ideas in me. Woke up one Saturday morning and the first thing that entered my mind as I opened my eyes was a way to change the seating arrangement of my class and to shift my desk to get the best out of my students. The following morning another idea came to me to get my students into learning to love reading. On that same morning these words came to me and I began to write. A TEACHERS JOB IS NEVER DONE! What school am I at? Who will I get? Who will I help to past the test? The test of life, with its failures and strife. I vow to give it my best. A TEACHERS JOB IS NEVER DONE! We dig deep into our pockets to put forth our best, Just to save or at least touch the rest. Will this work for John who cant seem to get it, Can this challenge for Sarah who seems above it. A TEACHERS JOB IS NEVER DONE! Woke up this morning with my class on my mind. How can I group them to learn more than just fine? Strong ones in back? Weaker ones front seat? But dont forget Michael who says Teacher I cant see. Can I mix and integrate for strong to help weak, Or will weak pull down strong, now that wont be neat. A TEACHERS JOB IS NEVER DONE! Move them here, no take them back, But change the room from this to that. A TEACHERS JOB IS NEVER DONE! They say we get vacation, 3 to be exact, But the real truth is, we cant wait to get back. The biggest one, oh how we adore, Is when summer comes and opens her door. Not because we get to relax, But to take a look back and try to revamp. A TEACHERS JOB IS NEVER DONE! How can I change, what can I improve, How did I help to contribute to my school. Where will I be? Who will I see? Do you vow to strive for excellence like me? Because, A TEACHERS JOB WILL NEVER BE DONE! By: Kimberly Fahie
