Yes the Long March was unsuccessful Yes Imran Khan is agitating against the government Yes the civil disobedience might not work Yes KPK might not be a model province (still arguable) Yes some if not most IK supporters are abusive or reactionary Yes IK went to Banigala in the morning today and last night Yes it rained Yes the arrangements might not be as well organized as they should be Yes the demand of resignation of PM is extreme Yes there might not be a million people But read this article and realize that there is something terribly wrong with this country. A government which refused to open up 4 seats to auditing in an election marred by irregularities A government which has never adequately responded to such rigging charges A government which has harassed young doctors, nurses etc. with brutal police force in the past A government which has accumulated more debt in one year than accumulated in 67 years of this country A government which has responded with abuse, ridicule and indifference to protests for 14 months A government which blocked roads in an entire province and the capital when a march they ridiculed and challenged finally came about IK might not be the best politician or the best leader. The PTI might not be the best political party filled with the most genuine political leaders. Their demands right now might not be the most legal or sensible. BUT at least they have tried to raise an important issue that has been troubling this countrys democratic history since forever. Dont support IK. Dont! Please dont! He might have lost lost his mind and his patience! But for the love of God, open your god damn eyes. There might not be a million people there. IK might have lost his patience. KPK might have been unprepared for the floods. But change is always a gamble. I give up trying to justify IK And PTI. But I will not excuse the PMLN Government for its crime. And if you do, it is up to you. The devil my friend is in the details.
