I give up...it IMPOSSIBLE to pack, move, clean, shower, do laundry, and maybe sleep, in one, sometimes two if Im lucky, half hour Dolce naps a day. And forget about accomplishing anything easily while shes awake, like grocery shopping, getting ready for work, even GETTING to work, running errands or going to the doctor. Not sure were allowed back at Safeway anyway after the blood curdling screams of the Great Toddler Tantrum of 2013. Sticking her hand in her shitty diaper and then wiping in mommys hair was an extra fun touch. And Im pretty sure that was the first time my doctor did a pap smear with a crying child clutched to his patient on the exam table. For Halloween Im going to be a single mom of a 14 month old...a costume sometimes mistaken as a zombie...although I think with the sleep-deprivied dark circles under my eyes that reach my chin, unmistakable vacuous stare of mommy-on-the-edge, and the lingering smell of sweat, tears and dirty diapers, mine is far scarier. #serenityprayer #momneedsahug
