I go to Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, AR, I moved to Arkansas in 2007 and both of my parents were in the military (my dad was in the Marine Corps for 24 years and my mom was in the navy for 4 years), I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA. Basketball is my passion and I train daily and I continuously strive to improve my game. Basketball is my passion and all the time that I spend in the gym is used productively to enhance permanent improvement in my game and I take pride in the way that I train. I am a PGC (Point Guard College) Grad; I attended PGC during the summer after my freshman year of high school. I have also been nominated by my teachers to attend the JrNYLC (Junior National Youth Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. in 2008 and the Junior National Youth Leadership Conference in Boston in 2009). I have been an honor roll student my entire school career, while being a student-athlete. I also do a lot of volunteer work for a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping our homeless veterans, because both of my parents are veterans and I enjoy helping veterans. I worked over 165 volunteer hours for this organization. I also do volunteer work for the Marine Corps League. I have also been nominated for the Rising Star Leadership Award for Lideres de Corazon. My AAU team is the Arkansas Patriots and I played 18 U AAU competition my junior year, I played 15 games during this season and I averaged 13.4 PPG and 6.4 APG. My team won 1st place at the King of the Hill AAU tournament in Fort Worth, TX. I was named team captain and I started for my team during this season. I plan on going to college and majoring in Computer Science and Minoring in Arabic. I am a strong believer in hard-work, dedication, discipline, being respectful, teamwork, good sportsmanship, being open minded and a good listener, and being proactive. I would love to attend school somewhere and I am willing to do anything it takes to play college basketball because my goal and dream is to carry on my basketball career outside of high school and have the experience of being a student-athlete in college. My first priority would be to be able to play on a team and if any scholarships become available at a later time that would be great, but my main objective is to just get on a team.
