I go to a very multiculturally diverse church in Cambridge and a group of young people did short presentations/testimonials with photos projected onto a large screen of their trip to Brazil a few weeks ago. They were in Rio de Janeiro for World Youth Day and to see the Pope up close and personal with thousands of other young people. I was impressed by their enthusiasm of traveling so far, sleeping in sleeping bags on the beach, making sure they all had binoculars and reved up to be the best Christians they can be. Very articulate group of 15 young people who raised their money via car washes, bake sales, etc, etc over the past 2 years to attend this powerful life changing event. Afterwards, their parents provided all sorts of pastries and desserts from various countries in Central and South America as pat of the fellowship. Very nice Sunday morning cultural and spiritual event!
