I go to the NUS Track @ Evans Rd every Tues for my sons Marathon training. I always see these group of kids training under Trackstar Athletics and thought they were from the Sports School. Today I learned from Jeremy Dev Joseph that some of these kids are actually from poor homes or are under priveleged kids whom the Sport Council is supporting. These kids have the potential but no resources for shoes or Ts or Shorts . So here they get all the help from the Sports council to equip them and training from Trackstar . Wow Great Job Sports Council... this is just amazing work and who says Spore is all about studying? These kids will fly on the tracks one day . If you come on down to the Tracks ? look out for these kids. They are dead serious about their training . Their eyes tell many stories. They may be from broken homes or poor families. I dont know yet. And one day I hope to be befriending them . I am sure soon they will be on the podium receiving medals. But for now... I know my son is with good company on the tracks...Kudos Sports Council... Teck Yin Lim and Toh Boon Yi... just thought I should share this . Cheers Sirs!!
