I googled Obidiah and this popped up. May have nothing to with the Athens band Obidiah Strange, but it is still interesting. Obadiah is a Biblical theophorical name meaning servant of God or worshipper of Yah. The form of Obadiahs name used in the Septuagint is Obdios. In Latin it is Abdias.
