I got George Pérez to sign my New Teen Titans #1, which is now being slabbed by CGC. I got to introduce the mayor of Bridgeport to the Caped Crusader. I got to introduce a cherished friend to one of his childhood heroes. I got to write, cast and direct a musical revue which was more well-received than I ever could have dreamed. I got to tell Neal Adams and Denny ONeil how much their work was appreciated by a precocious little mutant who could read and write quite well before he started kindergarten, and who desperately needed something non-childish to read, and how they helped instill in me a love for the written word which continues to this day. I got to help put on one of the biggest conventions Connecticut has ever seen. I got to see theater colleagues I hadnt seen in a decade or more. I got to be a game-show host. I got to perform for the first time in thirty years. I got Ming Chen to promise well play poker at next years show. I got blisters on my blisters.
