I got Nellie ( profile pic) from Craigslist when she was 13 weeks old. The day we picked her up we fell in love. I have never owned a pit before and have to admit I was nervous about everything Ive heard. But I wanted to see for myself. She was always amazing with my oldest son and since weve gotten her I have had triplets. She knew I was pregnant and would come over lay her head on my belly. Its very true when they say they used to be called nanny dogs she has always watched the triplets. Lets me know one is crying by howling. Theres not enough I could say about her. There are lots of pitties out there looking for homes maybe you can even foster one! Please help spread the word that pits are wonderful family dogs who are very loving and loyal. Sadly its the humans who make them turn.
