I got a bit more than half of the barn cleaned out --- the rest will have to wait until Saturday. Its so hot and humid that Im exhausted. Id have it all done if it were cool!!! Loaded up 3 truckloads and spread them on the area where the grapes, blackberries, blueberries, and asparagus will go. I staked it out this morning. So I shut the animals out of that part of the barn, so it can dry out. (they have plenty of shelter in other areas of the barn if it rains). After that part is done, Ill install some fans to keep them cool -- I think its time for fans. And the second carrot thinning has begun, with this one I get little carrots, so good. :) Ate the first one this morning!!! Staked the other tomato plant, theres around 5 tomatoes on it but none are red yet. Time to plant cucumbers, I think. Very happy with my little garden this year. Going to add more raised beds.
