I got a call yesterday from a guy with an Indian accent claiming that he worked for Windows support and wanted to fix some errors on my computer. I followed his steps to get to my error files and he asked me to try deleting them. I told him I was unable to delete the file, so he had me go to www dot teamviewer dot com. I downloaded the file and it gives you a userid and a password. Not being a complete idiot, I gave him the wrong userid and password. He tried quite a few times to connect to my computer and told me I had a problem with my connection. I told him I had to go and to call me back. He just called again today. He had me go to www dot temviewer dot com and redownload the program and give him the userid and password. I had written down the fake userid that I gave him and gave him a new password. He started telling me again that I had a problem with my connection. This time he told me to go to www dot ammyy dot com. When I typed ammyy into the search engine, I came up with many youtube videos talking about this scam. So while he was listening I started playing this one for him. He asked me who my wife was talking to. After listening to a lot of it, he finally hung up and called right back. I started playing another one for him and he finally hung up.
