I got a gift card from Kohls for Christmas. Today I went shopping alone, for bras (almost as torturous as bathing suit shopping). Before I left to go to the store, I carefully printed a 15% off coupon to use from Coupon Sherpa. I found two bras that fit nicely, after trying on oh, 47 or so and I was sweaty and irritable because when I lost weight I went from a C cup to a B cup but stayed at a size 38. I lost a cup size and no back fat. Super. At the checkout I was informed that Kohls no longer accepts coupons or savings from any site except kohls and also that the store was not offering any percentage discounts currently, unless I wanted to open a Kohls charge. I took a deep breath and calmly asked to see a manager. She arrived quickly and said she would honor the coupon this time (it scanned perfectly and was discounted by the register, so apparently it WAS a legitimate coupon) but that from now on all coupons must be from the Kohls website. I said, Thank you. I appreciate that. I would like for you to pass on to your upper management that I can purchase overpriced, poor quality clothing at imaginary discounts somewhere else. If you all stop offering 15%, 20%, and 30% off... I will no longer shop here at all and I guarantee a WHOLE bunch of other people will feel the same way. She grinned meekly and said, I certainly will let them know. Rant over. ~myMom
