I got a great email from one of our customers! Mike: First, sorry for the long ass e-mail but theres a lot of shit I gotta say! I want you and your team to know how thrilled I am with the work you did for me on my V wagon. I told my wife it was like Overhaulin level of quality - that means something to her as she enjoys watching the show. The little details you guys put into the car, like the beautiful exhaust work, draw attention from everyone: For example, I took it in for an alignment at the dealership after the lowering springs had settled a bit, and while it was on the lift I think every tech in the shop came over to have a look at the exhaust. They loved it and really appreciated how clean and tight everything was. And the custom mounts for the HX pump on rubber isolators - something that no one is ever going to see - was another great example. Your men obviously take a lot of pride in their work - please make sure they know how much the customers appreciate the extra mile they go to. I probably didnt do near enough of that while the car was on the lift and I had the chance. But after driving the car for a week it has really sunk in what a great job everyone did. Can you get this kind of work elsewhere? Sure, but you guys represent the best value anywhere. If I lived three states away, it would be better for me to pay to have the car shipped to you than to take it to a local shop - and your reputation is what makes that possible. I was able to do a no compromises build with your shop - anywhere else and I would have had to cut corners because of budget. If it comes down to price, your shop will always win the deal because guys HATE to go half-way on this stuff. I hope youll continue to be able to turn out cars of this caliber at the price point you do. Its really impressive. You COULD probably charge more, but that would have put my build in the range where I could have taken it to two or three different shops. You guys made it a no-brainer. I will make it my personal mission to send you enough extra business to help you keep it that way. Another thing I wanted to point out is how great a job you guys did taking a very general vision from me about what I wanted the car to be, and you turned that into reality. I wasnt there to cover every little detail - but thats where you guys came into play. I gave you my basic goals and you took it from there.
