I got a little weepy in the car this afternoon. I was listening to a gospel song Love Said Not So by Bebe and Cece Winans, and I realized how blessed my family is. My parents kept Jesus in the house. I dont think they truly understand how powerful and significant it was to me and my siblings--- taking us to church, Dad blaring the music loudly before AND after church. I hear a song, and it makes me think of Jesus and my family, and the grace the Lord has bestowed upon us. We have ALL seen some trials, some dark days, heartaches, and pains.
