I got a long email from a investor in Finland who wanted to help out with the Kickstarter... I really wanted to share my response with you because I believe it tells alot about how I feel about this project: First let me say thank you for having your heart in the right place weather you can help or not. " I have been following you maybe 2 years... I am quite convinced that you are determined enough that although your plans seem to go forward at very slow pace, I think sooner or later this all will become something you could say big." Thank you for the encouraging words. "Right now it seems like that kickstarted will fail." I am still praying for a miracle. :) "Unfortunately my situation is such that it might well be that i could easily invest that 2 500 USD already, but I wont know that until too late. But. My wife has good amount of money in her business and shes been in last couple of days starting to talk about that we should try to figure out some more business opportunities to not have all the eggs in same basket. I am not too trusty that I can talk wife to invest into this, since I have never mentioned about your project to her before, and this is not something she is into otherwise either. But despite that all, would you have some business offer to make about this to us that i can show to my wife if she would agree to it too. Things like number of visitors on that Conference, expected sales based upon other sellers, number of sellers that tried to get there. And especially what is the cost of producing, how much need to be produce, profit per each item, business plan..." Eventually this will be a business opportunity, however; I dont believe that the Dragon Con event is a wise business endeavor to invest in. I have spoken to other vendors and heard everything from I might only sell 50 books in the whole 4 day event to I could sell thousands of books. Because of the unstable data I received about sales there I created the Kickstarter in hopes that I would be able to raise the funds risk free, But I plan to go either way. I may not make the money back that I put into the event with or without the Kickstarter but there is much more to this than business. This is personal and spiritual. I played RPGs for 6 years and all of my friends (Atheists and Pagans) went to Dragon Con yearly. They saved all of their money up all year to just blow it buying tons of books and paraphernalia at the event. I can not pass this ministry opportunity up. These people are people who do not get ministered to. They are a pocket of a sub-culture in our society and God has put a special place in my heart to minister to them. This is what its all about. I may, at the end of the event, give away the books I dont sell. This will put a redemptive message that honors and points to Christ in the hands of those who would likely never see it otherwise. There will be 52,000 people there and I hope I make a profit but Im also happy to win some souls too! God bless you brother and your outlook on what I am doing. I promise you things are going to start moving faster. Randy Blackwell
