I got a pdf copy of The Good and Cheap Cookbook - good ideas, easy recipes. Hey, Mexican Street Corn *and* Poutine in there, k? Will definitely go for the new hardcover when its released. These are thought through to work within the budget constraints of SNAP (food stamps) and I declare they are damn solid eats. Tons of organizations are doing amazing, useful work, but usually their recipes can sound sort of preachy, or else theyre very governmental... ht Heidi Altman who had posted an earlier cite for this work.
