I got a shock at the grocery store this afternoon. I was trying to find enough change for my purchase rather than paying with a 20 dollar bill and the young lad in line offered me a Toonie ... Don’t see that much now days . he was maybe in his early teens and shopping for some treats for he and his buddy. I don’t know who he was. I had spoken to the boys as I came in the door as the other one had a very expensive Bicycle and he wanted to stay with it while the other guy shopped. He said it was worth a lot. Looked new so maybe a Christmas gift... So I took his part. I said ,”don’t trust anyone not even little old ladies...” I guess I helped him win his argument. I have no idea who the kids were. But a big Thank You Boys for being nice to this Little Old Lady and making her New Years Eve very Special! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU BOTH!!!
