I got a sneak preview of the Methadones tribute CD. Obviously you are going to buy it because it has Marky Kobane, The Manges, The Piniellas, Braceface, DeeCRACKS, The Parasites and on and on. None of these bands disappoint, but a few new bands really caught my ear. The Young Rochelles do a fantastic top notch version of Less Than Zero and who in the hell is Skunk Muffins? Has anyone heard of Skunk Muffins? I sure as hell had not. But their version of Far Away is killer. I am a Skunk Muffins fan now even though I have only heard one cover song and I am not even sure they are real.
