I got all the AC duct work in my home replaced with new duct work. A few years ago, a home inspector inspecting the home after a storm noticed crimps, cuts and cracks in the AC line. The duct tubes and trunk lines were put in when the house was built, back in the early 80s. Some registers blew more cold air in parts of the house while some parts didnt get any at all. Power bill was always high and it was due to the leakage of air from the lines into the attic. I contacted a company called Climate Pro, that performed the work. The two technicians came and worked their tails off all day in the heat, in and out of the house, removing old lines, adding new lines etc. They took the care to clean-up, communicate in regards to any issues or changes. We were not interested in companies that did not come out for estimates on time and companies that offered cheap work. We were able to qualify for a rebate duct work repair/replacement program through SRP to get some money back. The house now blows cold air to places we never had enough before like our kitchen and utility room.
