I got an odd public comment on one of my posts from a very educated lady – and a senior teacher probably at that: yeah but coming from mohamed abdullah ... its hard to trust muslims ... they fight for there islam .... there religion ... its not selfish but when u say we will fight all others until only islam exists... thats wrong ... u have ur religion ur god ... fine live and love ur life ... but u say like this now .. later only islam ... double standards .... thats wrong ... its not me saying whole world saying... only muslims dont know this .. u conveniently say positive statement ... later conveniently change when u r majority ... i can explain this easily if u want .. Each component of society – may that be family, caste, sect, religion, geography, linguistic set – has its own share of fanatics who subdue the opposing voices through force - in a few of these, more so, than the others. We, the so called educated, the broadminded, the advanced – should voice our opposition to it through our beliefs and actions. However, as much as these fanatical people are at fault, so are those who stereotype people basis the actions of a few and thus accelerate the process of alienation of the others... Lady - you have not met a Muslim like me - AND I am no exception...
