I got his letter from my parents today as they started their mission in Texas. Thought I would share it. Not too surprising but they are already working. I cant wait to hear about their wonderful experiences. We made it!!! We arrived Wednesday early evening(5:30). The Elders met us and helped us unload the car. We put a few things away and then changed and went to the Church. It was mutual and other things so we met several of the people in Branch 4. There are 4 Branches that meet in our building and 3 or 4 that meet in the north building. We will work with those in the south building. One english branch, two spanish branches and a YSA branch that is mostly english. We still don’t have any idea what we will be doing. The Elders think it will be activation and new member work, but we don’t know for sure. We will meet with Elder and Sister Alvarez tomorrow it sounds like. Maybe we will find out more then. The members here are very friendly and loving. We are so excited to get to know them and see how we can help. I we might even be teaching an Institute class on the Book of Mormon in English. We wanted you to know we were safe and happy and very lost in a big new town, but the Lord is with us. God bless each of you. Elder and Hermana Mangum Kirt Mangum
