I got into pet rescue because I wanted to give back.And I believe I dont just rescue dogs but help people find a new family member whos love is unconditional.The people who have adopted or fostered our dogs are some of the best people I have ever met,We dont get to choose a dogs backround when it goes into the shelter so the people who are willing to house break or nurse a sick dog back to health so it has a chance at a perfect new life are a Godsend.I dont really like the calls for a perfect c/d house broken 6 month old dobe.I believe you can buy that for alot of money.I like the calls we want to Adopt a dobe in need.And help that dog thru whatever needs to be done.I know those people are out there that is why as a RESCUE I will help heartworm postitive, mange, heart problems,limb issues, ther old and the young.And whatever it takes to raise the funds to do so I will do.And the other rescues I work with all do the same.As far as saving money for a rainy day in the rescue world its ALWAYS RAINING CATS AND DOGs!!!Night all and have a great weekend.
