I got married at St Marys. I was there when we were kicked out of the Catholic Church. I could not be more proud of Fr Peter Kennedy. He has shown us what standing in your truth looks like. He is the BEer of walking along those who are oppressed. He is the BEer of living the teachings of the church and not getting caught in indoctrination which are two separate things. Tomorrow marks 5 years when we celebrated the Eucharist in the church in Sth Brisbane for the last time and walked to the new building where st Marys in exile continues to congregate in integrity and love for all.
