I got my DPF filter cleaned and reassembled today. The truck fires up and the ECU still shuts the engine down after a few minutes. I have a Mechanic arranged for Monday morning to come and reset the ECU to allow it to run. He will also perform a parked regen at that time to make sure its all well. This is how it all breaks down as far as cost is concerned: 3 Days lost revenue. DPF gaskets $225.00. 1 clamp $20. mechanic on Monday $60. If I would have taken it to Parent Company. Tow to the peg $1500. 6 Hrs shop time at $150 hr= $800 DPF cleaning $400 to 800 and more clamps because they would have broke them all. They are big ones at $150 X 3. I wouldnt get my truck back until Tuesday at the earliest,thats 5 days lost revenue.
