I got my computer back up and running. Yay! I bought a new modem ($53) but that wasnt the problem. Called tech wizard and he said check with service provider. Called service provider and found out I got shut off for nonpayment! WHAT? Had them check billing and it was never posted to my account. Got it straightened out and got service again. Returned new modem for full refund. No money spent but aggravation level was running a little high. Its all good now. Moms car is being fixed, the cats let the snake go back to its family, my phone works again (Merle Haggard is still alive and its going to continue to be in the low 70s the rest of the week) and the clothes dont smell like garlic now. Whew! I need a cookie.
