I got my contract which started 1 June 2013. I was promised 2GB with 20 GB midnight data. I never received the promotional 20 GB data. I made the mistake of using data at midnight without checking Aand they charged me almost 1000 rands for it. After I was promised a credit note, it only happened after 3 months of fighting, calling back and forth and also contacting Hello Peter. I had to stop debit orders and reverse them because I couldnt afford the overcharge. 2 months late my dad mixed up our dongles and he used my card and I received an 800 rand over charge, that was after I phoned and explained the situation and asked them if I will still be charged or not. They said they wont because it was a mistake, even though my dad said he will pay the overcharge. Again, they deducted the overcharge amount from my account after I have received proof of screenshots that the credit note was loaded and accepted. That Fight started September. Again, countless phone calls, complaints logged and logging complaints on Hello Peter, it was sorted and they credited the money back into my bank account. The last fight is because my simcard was hacked, I have sent them proof yet they kept on telling me that their IT guys have investigated and I am liable for payment. After many Facebook posts to their page I have contacted an ombudsman, which I did let them know of. THEN ONLY I received a call stating that I will be credited the amount for my account. But the thing is, the person I spoke didnt want to give me a name and also refused to give me a reference number. I then logged another complaint on Hello Peter, in which Autopage responded that the matter has been looked into and resolved. Then when my Debit Order went off 5 July 2014, I was charged the full overcharge amount. I have been explained to that I wont be paying my account the next few months, but Ill just have to wait and see. Thanks for taking the time to read my story, I really appreciate it.
