I got my first job as a Zumba Instructor!! Super happy to be joining in the ranks of the LA Fitness crew :) Feeling grateful to Therese Abair Jefferson who taught the first class I ever took. To Traci Smith who stood in the back row with me at our first ever class as we laughed at ourselves and I tried not to hit myself in the face and wondered how everyone in the room already knew the dance... To Evenstar Blair and Courtney Ackerman who I watched the feet of from behind, wondering why they were so good and I was just trying not to hit myself in the face... (hahahah). To Veronica Gautney Lowe who has gone on more Zumba adventures with me than I can count. To Eric Aglia and Corrie Aglia who inspired us to drive long miles more than once just to be in your AWESOME presence and because you always deliver one hell of a party. To Chelsi Ché and Sharon Porter who saw something in me and encouraged me to do something with this passion of mine. I thank you for believing in me before I found the courage to believe in myself. Youve taught me SO much and I am forever grateful I get TWO amazing Zumba fairy godmothers! There are no words to tell you how much I appreciate you both. I am going to do my absolute best to carry forward and the GREAT Ive learned from everyone mentioned here as I carry forth the booty shakin fun! I hope all the new friends I make will be even moved even just a little of how much you all have moved ME!
