I got number 9. Not sure if these are particularly interesting.or intriguing. 1. I was born in Perth. Best place on Australia. And when we go back there it feels like home as soon as you step off the plane. My cousin, big sister and best friend was also born in Perth. We grew up together as Tom boys. And wed dip snippy dogs into our pea soup. 2. We lived on 2 farms, dad was bitten by a brown snake out that way, he threw rocks at it and it stood up on its tail with its mouth open. I was in prep and still remember that day and image. To this day I still have nightmares bout snakes. And I cant even look at pictures of them without dry reaching. I feel the same way about worms, theyre like baby snakes. i like spiders! 3. My school holidays were spent on my 2nd aunties and uncles farm in Maroopna. Oma an opa also lived there. This was an ostrich and deer farm and I have alot of memorabilia with lots of cool deer horns. 4. Grew up riding motorbikes. My first passion in life. Being on the back of dads Honda! 5. Dad used to put us 3 girls in a 44 gallon drum with a blanket and roll us down the hills in Kingston. 6. I love the beach. I love summer. I love being in the water. I love water skiing, childhood days of skiing on lake burrembeet, to which the lil man is now loving. I also have a new found love of fishing. And can catch them! 7. My first propper job was as a check out chick at safeway howitt street.I used to work at Rural press (now fair fax) and The Ballarat Courier. 8. I used to b a youth reporter for the courier. My career was in journalism. Im passionate about writing. And Im passionate about community issues. In my writing years I had a pretty cool job. I got to meet and interview and photograph Joel edgerton, Adam brand, and many other bands for The guys that owned Impress magazine. 9. I went to UNi and gained my bachelor of nursing. To which I love so much. Being a registered nurse was a dream after spending alot of my childhood in hospital with asthma. At the age of about 6. My hospital buddy who was always in hospital with asthma, had an asthma attack and died. It affected me. My lil man also has severe asthma. Who came close a few times to dying. Scariest times of my life. So I love being an advocate for asthma education an awareness.
