I got some requests to do Time 1 on 12 string guitar. I am afraid it doesnt work in front of a mic on a 12 string. I tried it. The repeated notes played by thumb and index create an imbalance in the flow. The octave string rings every other note (because plucking up sounds the high string more, plucking down sounds the low string) and it takes the flow out of it. The octave strings carry a melody, then it suddenly dies when switching to the double plain steel strings and it sounds weird. 6 AM works.. I just was playing that a bit on 12 string. Where Are You barely worked, but does sound a bit unbalanced because of the sudden drop off of the high melody that occurs on the octave pair strings, then dies off when switching to the plain steel strings. Also, the repeated notes in the bass strings sound a bit uneven because the octave string doesnt always get full volume (for the reason stated above regarding direction of pluck).
