I got the following email from Microsoft concerning my daughter - TopicsExpress

I got the following email from Microsoft concerning my daughter who just turned 13 last week Dear parent or guardian: According to the birth date provided for your childs Microsoft online account, BigSis is now 13 years old. You are therefore no longer able to manage permissions for the BigSis account through Account Services, and your child may create a new account without your permission. United States law requires websites and services to obtain parental permission to collect, use, or share personal information from children under 13. Because this child is now 13, you can no longer manage permission for this child for Microsoft online services. For information about how Microsoft collects and uses personal information, please review the Privacy Statement at g.msn/2privacy/enus. Thank you for using Microsoft online services. The MSN Parental Controls Team Please do not reply to this message, which was sent from an unmonitored email address. Mail sent to this address will not be answered. So I sent them an email to their online services. Dear Sir or Madame According to my records, my daughter still resides in my house, used my internet connection, my xbox, my computers, my electricity. I still pay the mortgage, pay the bills, buy her groceries. Until that changes, i.e. she moves her little ass out of my house and pays her own way, I decide who manages permissions and if she ever creates a new account without my permission I will promptly remove any access she has to said internet, computers and xboxes. That is all, /out BigSiss Father
