I got the iPhone 6+ primarily because of the optical image stabilization (the iPhone 6 only has software stabilization) which allows for better night video and reduces shake. I also got it for the higher resolution screen. At first the big size was really awkward, but I think after a few days you get incredibly use to it. Almost addictive to use. To showcase the video capture abilities of the 6+, I brought it along to my recent camping trip over the weekend and took this Slo-mo video of the campfire. YouTube added some slight compression artifacts, but otherwise is relatively close to the source video. https://youtube/watch?v=uFqEViFFybU A couple of things to notice: its not shaky, the flames are crisp and detailed, and the motion is smooth even when slowed down. At 240fps HD capture rate you sure do get a lot of detail. Original video was 11 seconds long, and at the rendered slow motion rate it is just over 1 minute.
