I got the number ten from Joe Ringmaster so here are ten facts about me that arent plain as day. 1. Ive gotten more than one tattoo because of a significant other. Each one has a (new) different back story as to why I got it so I dont have to say I got it for someone. 2. Despite having three of my own kids, I (for the most part) still dont like other peoples babies. 3. There are a good number of books Ive only flipped through in order to hold a conversation about. Example: The Great Gatsby. I didnt have to read it for school, but because it was a popular title I felt like I had some kind of obligation to read it. I didnt like it, so I thumbed through most of it. This is a pretty common practice for me, but this is also because I go to book stores frequently. 4. Im still not sure if reading the bible made me an atheist, or if I read the bible because Im an atheist. 5. I feel more alone in a room of people I dont relate to than I do at home, in an empty room. 6. I used to suffer from insomnia where I would go up to four or five days without sleep. This is legally insane in most states, if you can prove that you were awake for that whole time. I found out that I really like watching the sun rise. 7. I also used to suffer very badly from depression. I still do on occasion, and have seriously wanted to end my life several different times. These days, I work through anger and depression via exercise. I used to break stuff, but now I focus my energies on positive/ constructive efforts. 8. Sometimes I think Im only good at fixing stuff, because I break things so often. 9. I pretend to have a fascination/ fixation with multiples of nine because of Nikola Tesla. 10. Between quitting smoking, eating better, giving my work outs purpose, getting me off daily video game marathons, helping me travel, and a number of other things, Roller Derby not only gave me a life, it literally saved my life.
