I got this kit in the mail this week and plan to do a special build for a co-worker. He found out some details relative to his uncle that died in WWII on a bombing mission on 24 March 1945. His uncle flew in a B-24J from the 446th BG 704th Squadron. the aircrafts name was Queen of Angels, but I cannot find any pics of the markings and my friend doesnt have any either. I do know the registration number of the aircraft was 42-50735. I found some 1:72 decals for this squadron, so I will just do generic markings for that squadron. The aircraft was NMF...here is the story of the final mission of this aircraft....demonstrates bad decisions by HQ and the horrors of war for an aircrew.
