I got through the day yesterday, not without shedding some tears and feeling pretty sorry for myself! So change of subject. How about The Walking Dead last night on AMC? That show is still coming up with ways to scare me. It is still fresh even in its forth year! Also watched the tenth episode of The White Queen on Saturday. That show was filmed by BBC One and shown in the UK slightly ahead of its being shown on Starz here in the US. The War of the Roses has always been a period of history which fascinates me. I really enjoyed seeing it from the perspective of the women involved. Though this production was somewhat fictionalized, it was historically correct throughout. For those of you who dont know, Henry Tudor became Henry VII and he did marry the York princess Elizbeth. Thier second son became Henry VIII. Thier first son died fairly young. An extension of the curse placed on Margaret Beaumont for having the princesses in the Tower murdered. HenryVIIIs only son died when he was very young, just after becoming King. Queen Mary died childless, and Queen Elizabeth never married or had children. The Tudor line died out. Philippa Gregory has written several really good books about the Tudors, including The Other Bolyen Girl. Of course her books were the inspiration for The White Queen.
