I got to say this about this #dead beat# thing..it is great to have a platform like dead beat where people can express how they feel inside... about love gone sour and betrayal that only he or she that posts it understands how deep the pain cuts. However, am a strong believer that people never change. and no amount of posting or shaming irresponsible partners or ex on deadbeat can change them to become responsible. I follow deadbeat with very keen interest and to my uttermost surprise people are posting about men who left them who left them as long as decades ago and they even kept photos of such men!!! why would you hold onto the photo of someone like that? and their phone numbers too? Parenthood is sacrifice and no one who loves their child(ren) is supposed to be forced to be a responsible parent it should come naturally. Relationship between a kids mom and dad can end but if a man is willing to maintain relationship with his children then why not be allowed to do so? However, ladies should wake up!!!!! a man who dumps you because you are pregnant or gets lost leaving you with the responsibility to care for the children is not worthy keeping his phone no.his pictures or even writing to the world about. Sorrowfully enough most of these men have families elsewhere or kids all over the place, so when you post about him do you think such a play boy can leave his comfort zone to come and be a responsible parent to your child? Please!!! Wake up and move on from this dream of holding onto the past. Embrace your situation and accept it, Forgive such selfish people because holding onto such anger and pain just makes you blind hindering you from your full potential. I believe that God never gives anyone a burden too heavy to carry believe in yourself and forgive yourself.. stop blaming yourself thinking it was your fault the fool did not stay. Bigger blessings are sure lined up for you.you just have to look deeper because the strength sure comes from within. Margie.
