I got to walk alone all day again. Loved it. The Metata is flat, dry and hardly a tree in sight. It can leave you with a great since of self-reliance or sometimes lonely as well. But that’s part of the Camino. They say that this part of the trail is for your mind. It will drive you a little crazy or with some luck, take you to a quit place inside that we in the western world don’t experience often. I can’t remember the last time I stood out in the open land and looked in every direction and not see a car, a road or a building. The only thing out here is a line of pilgrims all going thru their virgen of the same think. How wonderful…I’m some were between crazy and quit. I don’t know what will win…
