God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matthew 6:34 (MSG) Bone Fragments: My boy Noah is a ball player!! He has some natural athletic ability that is rare, especially in the sport of baseball. A few weeks ago he was playing scrub football with some boys in the hood and broke the growth plate on his little finger. Of course that meant a full cast and weeks of recovery before play could resume. He missed school one day for a doc visit to get his cast off and missed sign up day for school ball try-outs. He was devastated but was he devastated enough to overcome his worries and anxiety of having to go one on one with the coach and ask him for a second chance. Well today he said he will do it so we shall see. This may seem like a small thing to us but for a shy 12 year old its life and death. My words were if you want something bad enough you have to overcome your fears and just do it. You will feel better about yourself if you do. As we travel the road of life, obstacles often loom large in front of us trying to keep us from our goals. Illness, surgery, financial strains, job loss, addiction, bad relationships, our on inward fears of what MIGHT happen are all things that hinder us. But as we keep on by faith, God opens NEW doors for us. Most of our worries never come to pass. But even when trouble comes Holy Spirit is there to show us a new course. We can avoid the trouble of worry by trusting Him today for all our tomorrows. Worry is a burden that God never meant for us to bear. LET IT GO!
