I gotta post something to clarify my view on sports, entertainment, movies, hobbies, etc...... All of those things, while enjoyable, are distractions. Yes, they are fun. Dont get me wrong, I love my football, hockey, Marvel Comics and the corresponding movies, all of that. BUT...having said that - they are just a side show, a means and way to temporarily, take us away from the things that REALLY should matter in life. But when I see a society that warps their values and visions, that WORSHIP the PEOPLE (yes they are just people folks) who play these sports, act in these movies, and sometimes (and these are the WORST) even worship politicians, then I lose my shit. None of the above Ive mentioned are WORTHY of worship. Its okay to ENJOY these nice sidetracks, and when doing so, to enthrall yourself and really soak it in at the time. That is how we relax and enjoy life. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But if I see people building temples and shrines, naming schools after these people, then again, I lose my shit. Ill NEVER understand or accept, idolatry and worship of political figures, and typically, its only one side that does that, and it AINT Conservatives. Its always, 100% of the time, the weak minded individuals (leftists), who lose themselves glorifying their self-declared masters. To me, its incomprehensible. In summary, enjoy yourselves, immerse and bask in the things you enjoy for the temporary time for you to indulge in. But never lose yourself, and when done, come back to the things that really matter - the people who are close to you in your lives, your family, close friends, and the ones that REALLY matter. Remember also, what your country USED to be. Because its a mere shell of what it was, due in large part, to distractions and false idolatry.
