I gotta say, Im a bit irritated right now. Ive been getting lots of messages lately about how Im not good enough to work for Disney and how it takes more than just tracing other peoples work to get places. Well, for one, I would like to say that I do not trace. I either look at an image a few times before drawing it, or remember a specific scene or pose from a movie and base my drawings off that. (For those of you who were curious, or otherwise doubting if it was really me behind the pencil.) And second, obviously Im not good enough to work for Disney. Yet. Ive only been drawing for two months; Ive still lots to learn. In short, when people start to doubt you, be mindful of why you started in the first place. Dont lose sight of your dreams and never let people tell you that you arent good enough to do what you set out to do. Period.
