I grew up in a two bedroom bungalow home in North Henderson. - TopicsExpress

I grew up in a two bedroom bungalow home in North Henderson. Plywood floors... No central heat.... No air.... Only one free standing stove... In the cold months you could see your breathe all day long. We walked most every place we went, even after we had a car. I could go on but Id rather not. It was years later before I realized we lived in poverty. However, I had one thing that made everything else ok. I had a fantastic mom. My mom was able to raise me, play with me, entertain me, take me places (even if it was walking to the same store twice a day), and teach me about life all while sheltering me from the realization of hard times. Years later I have not forgotten the warmth of my mom during my childhood. She made it special and she made it right. She was there and engaged in my life. She educated me and spent the time to mold me into the man I am today. Without her raisings there is no doubt I wouldnt be who I am today. A lot has changed since way back then but nothing has changed my love for my mom. Happy Mothers Day Terri Hutson. I love you, Pooh.
