I grew up in a very segregated era. Both my parents were white southerners though they considered themselves above the old KKK mentality, and NEVER taught it to us. But subtly, yes, they were products of the old thinking, no doubt. My mother actually supported the young Pat Robertson, just getting started. A young lawyer with a dream to serve the Lord. My mother also had good words to say about MLK, called him a man of God (she just didnt like his politics). Then I got married, and my wife loved Dr. King, and embraced the Civil Rights Movement. In my own evolution, seems like my wife won out.
