I grew up without my Father in my home, but he is a great Father. I never doubted his love for me. Even though he is Retired from the United States Army and always lived in another State all of my life he had a undeniable presence in my life. He would drive coast to coast to get me so I could spend part of my summer with him. I vividly remember all the trips to Famous & Barr EVERY school year to shop for school clothes. He would visit me every year until he got too old to drive that far. I havent seen my dad in far too long. Im sorry about that. Now they are saying he has only two more weeks to live because of lung cancer. We are never ready for death. He just turned 80. He has had a long life. Pray for us as we accept Gods will.
