I guess I can go ahead and post it...went back to the dr the other day for my ultrasound after discovering that my endometriosis is back. The less exciting news, in order to save what I have left of reproductive organs, we have mutually decided to be aggressive in treatment of the endo. After many prayers and tears and researching, I will be having surgery #5 in December. Not only for the endo but also to do ovarian drilling to help make sure my ovary starts working normally. The hardest decision was whether or not to start a shot called Lupron for 6 months after surgery, which puts you in menopause to help keep the endo from getting worse again. It has many scary risks but I have made sure I will be watched closely. & of course if I feel the Lupron is a bad choice after all, Ill be done with it. BUTTTTTTT!!! For the FIRST time in 7 years of having ultrasounds, my ovary looked completely NORMAL!!! 😁 I do still get cysts and have whacked up hormones but I am now looking NORMAL between cycles. The ovarian drilling will help make sure that the ovary starts working normally instead of just looking normal. I couldnt be more excited and thankful to know that my chances of conceiving my own children arent completely gone! 😊😊 I know its a month away but just keep mom in your prayers, this will be the first surgery that she wont be there for and shes already a nervous wreck. Lol
