I guess I solved part of my problem of not having anyone to go to a few places with. I stopped at the senior center in Sandy to check out how to get involved in activities and volunteer. And yes I am old enough to participate. (60). They have lunch there every day, do meals on wheels, and have all sorts of stuff at the center every day. Plus day trips and some over night trips too. So if I want to spend my time with a bunch of grandmas and a few grandpas, I can go. They all have such interesting stories to tell. And I like to listen, and help if needed. And I get to have lunch for 2.50 or a potluck every other week. I know I am a grandma, but the people there today were my parents ages and older. But that will not deter me.
