I guess Im-a headin............. Gotta get up early and get the kid to school with his cold weather delay. What the HECK is a cold weather delay?? When I was a kid the only cold weather delay we got was that Mom was getting us ready 10 minutes early because it took so long to layer us up for the 1/4 mile walk down to the bus stop. Our Moms didnt DRIVE us down to the bus. No sir. We walked. And then we waited for the bus. Patiently. :::giggling::::: Noooooo.............we didnt throw snowballs at one another, play tag, or take off the stocking hats that would have SURELY been grounds for abuse on the bus and put them in the mailbox until we got home. Nope. Not us.............. I was just talking to my friend Theresa Hassen about how SISSIFIED kids are today!! No kidding!! They have a DELAY for the start of school to be sure the building is warm enough for them?? WHAT?? God forbid little Suzie should have to wear THERMALS to school...........It would be cruel and abusive if she couldnt wear that 2 inch long mini skirt and short sleeved V neck t shirt to school!!! And the boys, theyre no better. THEY wear shorts all winter because the schools are heated to about 80*F!!! WOW Delay of school because its cold. No THEREs a concept, huh???
