I guess if I have learned anything this year is that people do genuinely care and something about me or my personality has brought plenty of rewards...great friends. I have always tried to be that person who pays it forward in regards to my offering support and an ear to those that need it. I offer my heart. To tell you the truth, thats all I really have. I dont have a lot of money and certainly dont turn heads, but I do have a heart and kindness. In return, I have received so much from others. Give and take, I guess. Ive hurt some this year and in my pain, people I work with have been there for me. We need that, sometimes, lets just be honest. A support system during tough times can mean all the world. Loss, the daily financial struggles, personal foibles that come with life, lifestyle changes, etc. I can say this year proved that there are some great folks in my life who are willing to open their heart and listen. This means a lot. I hope 2015 brings a bit more happiness and less family loss, a little less stress and a healthier physical body. One thing Im certain of...Ill be surrounded by some wonderful people.
