I guess it is my turn to give a sappy shout out to CrossFit - TopicsExpress

I guess it is my turn to give a sappy shout out to CrossFit Regina, my CFR family, and the folks at Battle on the Border... First of all, I was really disappointed going into the competition. The WODs were not really in my wheelhouse, and were even beyond my ability in some instances....or so I thought. For the first time ever, I did an assisted handstand. This was all because of the trust of my partner, Jacey Falconer. Jacey, thank you for pushing me every day, and for making me better. I would not have trusted anyone else in that situation, but I was willing to go out of my comfort zone for you because I know how hard you worked to make our team complete (and better). HE GAVE ME BURPEES for LIFE!!!! I can literally say I gassed myself on every event knowing that I was the weaker of the two of us, but wanted us to be better. Crossfit Regina is amazing. I love that place more than anything!!! Thanks to my CFR family for cheering me on and encouraging me daily, and thanks to those of you who were at the competition and supported me. I only hope that I was able to support you as much as I felt supported. Each of you kicked so much ass at Battle on the Border. I couldnt belong to a better box!! And, finally, thank you to the folks at Crossfit Lloydminster and CuJo Conditioning Ltd. for putting on a great competition. It was a great experience. Special shout out to my favourite volunteer of the weekend, Shelley Green!! It was great to see you again, and thanks for all your encouragement.
